Plymouth coach Gary Stronach said his final farewell to the Raiders on Sunday as his side suffered a narrow defeat to Worthing Thunder. Stronach, who has been with the club for 25 years, announced last week that he would not be renewing his contract. Worthing had to win the game to make the BBL play-offs and it was Reggie Bratton's 41 points that clinched the deal for the Thunder. Drew Lasker led for the Raiders with 30 points of his own. The game was close in the first half, with the biggest lead coming at 21-27 to the visitors but the Raiders got back into the game in the second and restricted Worthing's lead to just 12 points. Plymouth had the edge in the third period, with Lasker and Tino Valencia scoring consecutive baskets to make the score 69-65. Worthing then took charge in overtime as they opened with an 11-1 run to push themselves through the century mark and seal the win.
