Paternostro's side have equalled a club-record seven straight wins |
Leicester Riders head coach Rob Paternostro was full of praise for his side after seeing them extend their winning run to seven at the weekend. Riders saw off Plymouth 86-74 on the road on Friday. And despite the quick turnaround, Riders beat Glasgow 88-80 at the John Sandford Centre on Saturday. "It's a fantastic achievement. We're playing good basketball and there is the belief in the team right now," Paternostro told BBC Radio Leicester. "We just don't want to lose, don't think we'll lose and to win seven in a row is pretty special. "There's a good balance and a good chemistry and we're a tough team to beat. "We also have young legs and at this stage of the season it's very taxing and these young guys still have a lot of energy. "We have a lot of good players. It's a team game and we're rolling right now."
