Raiders have lost their last seven matches

League strugglers Plymouth Raiders had a hard fought match against MK Lions in the BBL at the weekend.

The Lions got off to a good start due to the scoring prowess of Robert Youngblood, Yorick Williams, Frank Holmes and EJ Harrison.

But the Raiders fought back, with ten points coming from new signings Drew Lasker and Anthony Rowe.

The second period saw theRaiders continue their momentum, outscoring the hosts 28-12 in the period.

The sides then traded baskets for much of the way, until two Mike New free throws gave the Lions a four point lead, at 64-60.

New then gave Harrison an assist for an easy layup, meaning the Lions were up 6 points, and they built on this lead, to go up 71-64 after a Harrison field goal.

A massive 37-25 fourth quarter from the home side then proved to seal them the deal.
