Flournoy will not feature after breaking a finger in training

Newcastle Eagles player-coach Fab Flournoy believes his side can put recent slip-ups behind them against Cheshire Jets on Sunday.

Eagles are bidding for a place in the BBL Cup semi-finals but come off the back of a narrow 96-95 defeat by Plymouth on Sunday.

"We are always pretty good at bouncing back from defeats," said Flournoy.

"The game against Cheshire will be tough because of a smaller bench but we are looking forward."

Flournoy is unavailable to play himself due to a broken finger which he picked up in training.
