Plymouth Raiders face another tough weekend as they prepare to take on the MK Lions and Everton Tigers.

The Raiders welcome the Lions on Saturday in the BBL Cup quarter-final, before a BBL league game against the Everton Tigers on Sunday.

And head coach Gary Stronach is confident following last week's 96-95 victory against Newcastle Eagles.

"We proved we could compete for a full game and the end result was there for all to see," Stronach said.

The Raiders have won 11 of their 19 league encounters against the Lions, and head coach Gary Stronach is hoping to emulate last weekend's success.

"I was very happy against Newcastle. We found a way to secure a win.

"We did a lot of the incidentals really well, by which I mean aspects of the game that are not logged as a statistic.

"The result was vital for this team of players and me as their coach."
