Plymouth Raiders secured an overtime victory against defending British Basketball League champions Newcastle Eagles at the Pavilions on Sunday. Florentino Valencia had made two free throws to force the added minutes. But the result hung in the balance until an Anthony Martin bucket with 50 seconds remaining on the clock. Raiders guard Allister Gall also clocked up 20 points in support, underpinned by 14 and 13 from centre Matt Hilleary and Anthony Martin. The Raiders have now moved to 12th in the table, one place off the bottom.
