Coventry Crusaders coach Scott Neely is hoping to sign a couple of players in time for Saturday's National Trophy trip to Taunton Tigers (1700 BST). The Crusaders have lost their first two matches, 69-56 at home to Bristol in the Trophy and 61-59 at Birmingham in the National Cup first round. And they want to look at prospective imports, Neely admitting: "We're trying to get two new players registered. "It'll give me the opportunity to evaluate them in a match situation." But Neely will not be rushed into signing any imports, adding: "The hope would be to have a player join us for the end of October at the latest. Ahead of the meeting with Taunton, Neely said: "I expect a hard-working team who do a very good job of playing unselfish basketball. "In the past they have really relied upon great teamwork with a patient methodical offensive approach and a disruptive run and jump style of defence. "It will be interesting to see their current approach as they have changed coaches but many of the players have stayed."
