New Worthing Thunder Coach Dave Titmuss is intensifying preparations for the upcoming BBL season and says he has high hopes for the coming season.
Titmuss joined from rivals Reading Rockets over the summer and has lofty ambitions for the Thunder.
He told BBC Sussex: "I think that whatever competition you're in, you should aim to be the best. I really want to bring national titles here.
"In this first year I want to be the most improved franchise in the BBL."
Titmuss has been shaping his squad for the new season by signing Richard Kadiri, Reggie Bratton and Bulgarian Pepe Zafirov, as well as retaining Daniel Hildreth, James Brame and Daniel Midgley.
The Thunder finished their first season in the BBL in 11th place. The club are set to start the new season at home to the Plymouth Raiders on 25 September.
