Vidmantis Uzkuraitis scored vital early points for Worcester Wolves

Worcester Wolves made it three wins in a row as they came out on top 90-86 in an exciting mid-table battle with MK Lions at Worcester University.

Wolves took early control to lead 19-6 helped by a Vidmantis Uzkuraitis three.

Wolves continued to surge ahead in the second quarter taking a 52-35 lead into the half-time break.

Lions responded well in the third quarter as they turned round a 17-point deficit to lead 66-64 going into the final quarter.

But the visitors could not maintain their lead in the final stanza, Anthony Paez's 32 points helping Wolves clinch a tight victory.

Wolves' third win in a row takes them up to eighth in the BBL, level on points with MK Dons.
