The Raiders clinched a four point victory at the Plymouth Pavilions

The Plymouth Raiders became only the second team this season to beat the Everton Tigers in an 89-85 thriller at the Plymouth Pavilions on Sunday.

The Raiders let a nine point, fourth quarter lead slip but won in over time by just four points.

Victory lifted Gary Stronach's Raiders to fourth in the league, while Tigers still remain top.

Raiders, however, continue to chase a top-two finish and an invite into one of the European cups in 2009/10.

It would be the first time the club have graced European competition.

Raiders will next meet the Tigers in the BBL Cup Final at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham on 18 January.
