Rob Paternostro's men are currently fifth in the BBL Championship

Leicester Riders have inflicted the first BBL Championship defeat of the season on the Scottish Rocks.

The Riders' strong start and finish earned them a 93-84 victory at the Braehead Arena on Sunday.

The home side led 68-61 going into the final quarter but the Riders sealed their victory from the foul line in the closing minutes.

Leicester guard Matt Martin led all scorers with 28 points, just ahead of the Rocks' Rob Yanders 25-point total.
