The Plymouth Raiders were handed their second straight home defeat as they went down 73-91 to BBL leaders Newcastle Eagles on Sunday.
Plymouth matched the Eagles for much of the first half until Newcastle scored eight straight points to go into the break with a big lead.
The Raiders failed to pull back any of the deficit, and at one stage were 24 points adrift before a late flurry.
DeAntoine Beasley top scored for Plymouth with 23 points.

"I'm bitterly disappointed with the result, we more than held our own in the first half then we had a little two minute spell when they outscored us eight to zero and that was the turning point in the game," head coach Gary Stronach told BBC Spotlight.
"We had two big games this weekend, we went to Everton, who are second in the league, and lost to those guys by two points and had the shot to win that game.
"Coming into today's game I was full of confidence that we could beat the defending champions, but the scoreline suggests we didn't even get near to them, which we didn't."
Anthony Martin (14) and Gavin Love (10) were the only other Raiders to score double figures.
Trey Moore scored 28 points for Newcastle as all their starting five hit 14 points or more.
