Coach Mick Donovan is excited at Worcester's new signing

Worcester Wolves have seen off interest from other BBL clubs to sign England under-18 captain Andrew Wallace.

Wallace, French-born but with a British father, played for a Dijon side that finished second in the top division of France's under-21s league in 2007.

Director of basketball Mick Donovan said: "It's a brave and exciting move.

"We have a young player with genuine potential coming to this country to get better rather than travelling to Europe or the USA to try and improve."
