Plymouth Raiders recorded their best finish to a BBL season by beating the table-topping Newcastle Eagles 96-92 in the third place play-off. BBL all-star Drew Lasker was Plymouth's hero by hitting the winning points as the Raiders battled back from a 54-33 half-time deficit. The Raiders cut the Eagles' lead to one point by the end of the third quarter as Lasker bagged most of his 19 points. Gaylon Moore hit eight in a row in the final period to put Plymouth in front. Moore ended the game as the Raiders' top-scorer with 26 points.
