Milton Keynes Lions beat BBL champions Newcastle 72-63 in the play-off semi-finals to end the Eagles' hopes of a fourth successive title. Terrell Brown was an inspiration throughout for the Lions, scoring 17 points, and Yorick Williams added 13. Newcastle trailed 65-63 with less than two minutes left but the Lions held firm to seal their first play-off final place in 20 seasons in the BBL. Guildford Heat beat Plymouth Raiders 81-66 in the second semi-final. EJ Harrison led the Heat�s scoring with 21 points as they eased to a comfortable win. The Heat established a 12-point lead at half-time and maintained a double-digit advantage throughout the second half. Gaylon Moore was the only Plymouth player to offer much resistance, hitting 25 points in a losing cause.
