A great weekend for Worcester Wolves has put them in with a great chance of reaching the BBL play-offs for the first time. They followed up Friday's 97-83 win at Sheffield by returning to Worcester to beat Cheshire Jets 117-107 on Saturday night.
The two victories lift the Wolves up to eighth place in the table.

Friday's game at Sheffield saw both sides trade baskets throughout the opening two quarters. And it was the Wolves who edged the score at 50-51 going in at the half.
The second half saw the visitors begin to assert their authority on the game with a 7-0 burst midway through the third period to take the score out to 54-62.
The Wolves continued to dominate the Sharks, and led 64-76 going into the final stanza. And, in the final quarter, the home side tried desperately to claw their way back into the game.

A 10-0 burst for the Sharks got the score back to 83-94 within the final minute, but the Wolves held on in the closing stages to secure the all-important victory from the foul- line.

Wolves then scored a massive victory with Sunday's success against Cheshire Jets, winning the head-to-head series in the process.
A full-house Worcester crowd saw the Wolves strengthen their place in eighth, with the Jets remaining ninth in the table.
Anthony Paez (32) and James Life (30) combined to inspire the Wolves to the win, while Shaun Durant had a double-double of 12 points and 18 rebounds.
