British Basketball League champions Guildford Heat have drawn top Spanish side Joventut Badalona in the group stages of the Uleb Cup. Badalona, a hotbed of basketball, were the European champions in 1994 and played in the Euroleague last season.
Also in Guildford's group are Alba Berlin (Germany), Siauliai (Lithuania), Sarajevo (Bosnia) and Ankara (Turkey).
The Heat's first European campaign starts on 6 November and involves 10 games in the group stages.
The top three teams in each group, plus the best five fourth-placed teams in the nine Uleb Cup groups, will qualify for the play-offs.
The draw was described as "amazing", by Guildford Marketing Director Phil Hardy, who attended the ceremony in Jesolo, Italy.
"The Spanish ACB is meant to be the best league in the world outside the NBA - Joventut are almost an NBA team in terms of quality," he said.
"It's going to be great to be able to see them up close and see what we can get out of our players."
Three of last season's Badalona squad - Andrew Sullivan, Andrew Betts and Robert Archibald - were selected by Great Britain coach Chris Finch for his squad this summer.
In addition, Joventut's Spanish international star Rudy Fernandez, 22, was picked by the Phoenix Suns in last week's NBA Draft.
Hardy told BBC Sport he was delighted by the variety of teams Guildford will play - "from the whole panoply of Europe."
"To go to Sarajevo and also Lithuania will be great. Basketball's their national sport - it's bigger than football over there."
Guildford won both the Championship and the BBL Cup last season, just two years after the club was formed.
