Sullivan helped England win Commonwealth Games bronze |
Newcastle and England's Andrew Sullivan has been named as the BBL player of the season for 2005/06. Sullivan is the first home-produced player to win the award for 11 years and was ranked number one by four of the 11 other BBL head coaches.
He pipped Eagles team-mate TJ Walker to the prize while London's Lynard Stewart finished third in the rankings.
Sullivan has finished third in scoring, leads the League in blocked shots and averages over eight rebounds per game.
