Newcastle wrapped up their first BBL championship title with 102-82 win over London Towers on Monday night. After a close opening quarter, a 15-4 Eagles burst in the second quarter put them 45-28 up and a 10-0 burst in the third pushed them out of reach.
Darius Dafoe (25 points) and Andrew Sullivan (23 points) top scored for Newcastle, who have now won all three trophies available so far this season.
The one remaining title up for grabs is the play-off, which the Eagles hold.
Monday's one other game saw third-placed Sheffield win 104-92 at bottom side Birmingham.
