Eagles win to stay in title hunt
Newcastle Eagles moved back within two points of BBL Championship leaders Chester Jets with an 88-72 triumph over Milton Keynes Lions on Friday.

Pierre Henry-Fontaine hit two last-quarter three-pointers for the Lions to cut the lead to 74-64 but the visitors could get no closer.

Andrew Sullivan led all scorers with 25 points for the Eagles.

Chester had boosted their title hopes with a 96-85 victory over Sheffield on Thursday night.
