Jets dodge Bullets to stay top
Leaders Chester Jets beat Birmingham Bullets 116-85 on Sunday to maintain a two-point lead at the top of the BBL.

Calvin Davis and Trey Moore top-scored with 26 points each for the Jets, who opened with a 12-1 burst and eased into a 38-16 lead in the second session.

Jo James top-scored with 24 points and 13 rebounds in Thames Valley's 82-72 win over Plymouth Raiders.

The Tigers are now four points clear of the West Country outfit in the race for the final play-off spot.

Scottish Rocks beat London Towers 80-74, the first time this season the Rocks have beaten a team above them in the league.

Donald Goal led all scorers for the home side with 24 points, while Rod Brown netted 20 for the Towers.

Brighton lost 84-76 at Milton Keynes - with the weary Bears paying for Saturday's qualification for the BBL Trophy final.

In Sunday's other game, Sheffield Sharks defeated Leicester Riders 94-79, Ervin Murray (30 points) and Mike New (24) leading the way for the Riders.
