Reggie Jackson scored four touchdowns as Cornish Sharks beat Reading Renegades 32-0 in their season's first British American Football League win.
David Krierhn's touchdown gave the Sharks the lead before running back Jackson stole the show.
He scored once in the first half and a hat-trick in the second half, including capping off an 80-yard possession and a 40-yard individual run.
The Sharks defence also shone, holding Reading to just 60 yards of offence.
The Sharks held off the Reading offence from just two yards out with two stops on the line and a 45-yard interception from Matt Lockwood.
The victory came a week after the Sharks lost their opening game to the Hampshire Thrashers 27-7.
I am proud of everyone that played. This is a sign of a good football team coming of age
Cornish Sharks head coach Brian Smallworth
"This was a complete 180 degree turnaround from the previous week. Having watched hours of game tape from the first game we made many changes to both offence and defence which we believed would help our game plans for the game against Reading," said head coach Brian Smallworth.
"The coaches and players worked hard midweek to implement all the changes and I am proud of everyone that played. This is a sign of a good football team coming of age."
The Sharks travel to face the South Wales Warriors in the next match on 17 May.
