League leaders Bacchas A defeated second-placed Valkyres A 2-1 on Saturday to maintain their 100% record in Men's Division One.

Richard le Page and Jamie Cox scored the all-important goals for the Tromode side with Greg Miller scoring from the spot for Valkyres.

Miller had a second penalty expertly saved by Bacchas keeper David Whiting.

Meanwhile, third-placed Ramsey A retuned to winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Bacchas B.

James Aitchison (2) Ollie Webster, Andy Burrows and Keith Corkill scoring for the northerners with Danny Shuttleworth on target for Bacchas B.

Elsewhere, Castletown A secured their first points of the season with a 4-3 victory over Valkyrs B and Vikings A beat the B team 6-2 at the NSC.
