Bacchas A beat Ramsey A 4-1 on Saturday to take the Mixed Hockey Premier League title to the final game of the season. Andy Whiting (two), Dave Kneale and James Wright scored for Bacchas while Ollie Webster replied for Ramsey. Meanwhile Valkyrs A beat Bacchas B 5-2 with Russell Miller (two), Poppy Walker, Andrea Kneen and Gareth Morris all on target for Valkyrs. Claire-Louise Lace and Glen Bloxham-Mundy both scored consolation goals for Bacchas in the second half. The results mean disappointment for third placed Falcons who can no longer win the championship, however they still have a big say in who does. If Falcons avoid defeat against Bacchas A in the final match of the season then Valkyrs A are champions. Victory for Bacchas A will see them retain the title.
