Jersey's badminton team has moved up to third in division two of the Inter-County Championships after a win and a loss at the weekend.

The island side lost 12-3 to Surrey's third team on Saturday in Wimbledon.

But they bounced back on Sunday to beat Sussex's second team 9-6 at the Portslade Sports Centre in Brighton.

Jersey's next match in Division Two C of Inter-County Championships is not until after Christmas when they host Surrey on Saturday, 10 January.
