Sarnia Sword Club fencers beat the Royal Navy 7-3 last weekend to win the fixture for the fourth year in a row. Each team comprised three individuals, fighting with foil, epee and sabre, in the competition which was held on a round-robin basis. Guernsey captain, Ross Martel told the BBC: "Competing together as a team truly brings out the best in the local fencers ability." The 37th annual match against the Royal Navy was held at Beau Sejour.
