Newcastle kept in touch with BBL Championship leaders Chester Jets by coming from behind to beat the Plymouth Raiders 73-69 on Friday. Plymouth put in a strong first-half display to lead 35-30 by the interval.
The Raiders took control again early in the second half and were 53-44 ahead going into the final quarter.
But Newcastle made a move early in the fourth, with Jeremy Hyatt hitting nine late points to win the game for his side in the last two minutes.
