Brighton Bears coach Nick Nurse and Trey Moore of the Chester Jets have won British basketball's January coach and player of the month awards. Nurse guided the Bears to the BBL Cup crown last month with a win over the Scottish Rocks.
The Bears also qualified for their second BBL Trophy final in two years.
Moore, the league's leading scorer with a 24.3 points per game average, led Chester's scoring as they recorded seven wins out of eight.
