Nottingham Panthers have signed their second NHL player this week, with defenceman Nick Boynton joining Boston team-mate Ian Moran at the club. Panthers' coach Paul Adey said: "We have added two quality guys who have played at the highest level.
"These players will add to the team both on and off the ice."
NHL All-Star Boynton should be in the UK to make his Nottingham debut this weekend against Basingstoke.
The Panthers are also seeking to add another forward to their roster before the end of the month signing deadline.
