Cardiff Devils came from two goals behind to beat Nottingham Panthers in overtime in ice hockey's Elite League. Jon Cullen and Jason Becker levelled the scores before Nathan Rempel scored the winner which puts the Devils back on top of the league.
Said Devils coach Dave Whistle: "We showed a lot of character. It's good we came through and got the two points.
"We didn't want to give Nottingham a point but they deserved one. I'm glad some different guys scored too."
Devils now have a double weekend of games against the Sheffield Steelers, away in Sheffield on Saturday 29 January, and home at the Welsh National Ice Rink the next day.
Meanwhile, the dates for the two legs of the Challenge Cup final between the Cardiff Devils and Coventry Blaze have been set.
The first leg will take place in Coventry on Wednesday, 16 February, with the return leg on Thursday, 24 February.
