Rebels keep British National Cup
The Rhondda Rebels retained the British National Cup for the third successive time with a 78-63 win over Sheffield Hatters at Birmingham's NIA.

The Hatters dominated the first two quarters before Rebels coach Steve Williams blasted his side.

Tension increased as the Rebels argued with officials in a fractious game.

But with Italian Sylvia Gottardi inspiring the Welsh side with 22 points, they dominated the final quarter to claim a thrilling victory.

The Rebels are unbeaten in 17 domestic games this season, whilst the Hatters' only losses have been to the Rhondda team.
