Rachel Grinham beat Madeline Perry in fourth sets in Kuala Lumpur
Northern Ireland's Madeline Perry bowed out of the World Open Squash on Wednesday after a battling performance against number one seed Rachel Grinham.

After losing the opening two games 9-1 9-0, Perry claimed the third game 9-7 but the British Open champion won the fourth game 9-5 to close out the match.

Perry has achieved a career-high world ranking this season and her performace in Malaysia should maintain her rating.

The Banbridge woman beat Hong Kong's Rebecca Chiu in Tuesday's first round.

Perry qualified for the semi-finals of the Irish Open in April, where she lost to Dutch world number three Vanessa Atkinson and also made the last eight at the Malaysian and Las Vegas Opens.
