London Towers took a two-point lead at the top of the BBL Championship table with a 118-77 win over Birmingham. The Bullets found themselves on the end of a Towers backlash, after London's defeat at the hands of Brighton.
The visitors raced into an early 35-20 lead and never looked back. Towers' Jerry Williams led all scorers with 37, including 18 in the first quarter.
In the BBL Trophy, Newcastle bounced back from Thursday's defeat by Brighton with a 94-85 win over Scottish Rocks.
The Eagles got their noses in front on a TJ Walker basket midway through the second period at 30-29.
Despite never quite shaking off a resilient Rocks outfit, they kept a held their lead until the final buzzer.
Rocks closed the gap with a 9-0 burst either side of the half-time interval, but the Eagles steadied the ship with an immediate 8-2 run.
A late burst from the Eagles stretched their advantage out to the largest lead on the night at 80-67.
