Sheffield beat Newcastle 118-113 in overtime to leapfrog them into fourth place in the BBL Championship. The Eagles had led for much of the encounter but the Sharks got their noses in front late in the final quarter to lead 102-98.
Newcastle's Frank Bennett forced the extra period with two late free throws and the home side came from behind to level again at 113-113.
The Sharks scored the final five points of the game from the free-throw line.
