Sheffield claimed the BBL Championship play-off crown for the first time in their 10-year history after winning a tense final in Birmingham. The sides were well matched throughout but two late drives from Robert Yanders gave Sheffield a 60-55 lead going into the final quarter.
Sheffield hit six of their eight free throws to stay ahead and a late basket from Lynard Stewart sealed the victory.
Stewart earned the most valuable player award for his 25 points.
The triumph means the Sharks have finally completed the full set of the four major British titles.
Delighted Sharks head coach Peter Scantlebury said: "This has been a long time coming, not only for myself but for the whole club too.
"This season has been beyond my wildest dreams. Winning two trophies in my first year has been amazing."
