British Olympic windsurfers Nick Dempsey and Natasha Sturges finished fifth and ninth respectively at the world championships in Turkey. The Mistral class regatta was plagued by tricky winds and abandoned a day early with France's Julien Bontemps taking gold in the men's division.
Dempsey was tied on equal points with fourth-placed Alexandre Guyader.
Italy's Olympic champion Alessandra Sensini beat New Zealand's double Olympic medallist Barbara Kendall.
