Phil Taylor bounced back from recent setbacks to beat John Part 7-2 and win the Paddy Power World Grand Prix in Dublin. Part ended Taylor's eight-year winning run at the PDC World Championship at Purfleet Circus Tavern in January.
The Canadian also beat him in the semi-final of the Las Vegas Desert Classic.

Another close finish looked on the cards when the first four sets were shared
But a 66 checkout, followed by successful attempts at double 20 and 10, helped Taylor clinch the fifth set 3-0.

Part finally stopped the rot with a successful attempt at double 16 followed by a 112 checkout.
