Holland became the first team to make it into the final of the Champions Trophy by beating Argentina 6-3 on Thursday.
The Olympic champions lead the group table by two points from Pakistan following their comprehensive win.
Argentina, the Pan-American champions, were level at 3-3 with the Dutch at half-time but were unable to maintain their momentum.
Ronald Brouwer netted twice for Holland, as did Argentina's Jorge Lombi, the tournament's top scorer with eight goals.
Kashif Jawad scored twice as Pakistan maintained their unbeaten record in the tournament with a 5-2 victory over Germany.
The victory means Pakistan have eight points from their four matches and are on course for a place in Sunday's final.
Germany, last year's World Cup winners, fielded their second-string team and lost their fourth straight match despite fighting back with two goals early in the second half.
They are resting their top players for next month's European Cup as the winners will secure passage into the Athens Olympics and avoid having to play a qualifying competition in Madrid next year.
Jawad opened the scoring in the fifth minute after a pass from Rehan Butt, who stretched the lead with an open-play goal 10 minutes later.
Jawad scored his second after a defence-splitting pass from Mudassar Ali to make it 3-0.

Pakistan's relaxed pace after the interval allowed Germany to stage a comeback with field goals from Benedikt Sperling and Benjamin Kopp. But the German challenge faded away after Sperling's suspension for a rough tackle in the 63rd minute and Pakistan grabbed two more goals in the closing stages.
Penalty corner specialist Sohail Abbas sent a stinging drag flick into the goal and Salim Khalid rounded off the scoring in a swift counter-attack just before the end.
