Defending champions Holland continued their unbeaten start in the Champions Trophy to beat Australia 5-3. The hosts of the tournament in Amsterdam won their opening match against India 4-3.
In other matches on Sunday, Pakistan snuck past Argentina 6-5.
Holland opened up a 2-0 after goals by Matthijs Brouwer and Karel Klaver before Australian striker Nathan Eglington pulled a goal back near the break.
The home side added three goals in quick time after the resumption through Rob Reckers, Taeke Taekema and Bram Lomans before Matthew Wells and Dean Butler claimed consolation strikes.
Pakistan's Rehan Butt scored with two minutes left to defeat the Pan-American champions.
Two goals each to Sohail Abbas Babas and Shabbir Hussein had given Pakistan a 4-0 lead before Argentina battled back to level the match.
Mathais Vila and Almada got it back to 4-2, before Kashif Jawad gave Pakistan a three-goal lead.
Lucas Cammareri sparked the Argentine comeback and then striker Jorge Lombi scored twice in five minutes to tie the match until Butt's late winner.
