Spain earned a top-seed ranking for the men's basketball quarter-finals with an 88-84 win over New Zealand. Jorge Garbajosa led the Spaniards with 17 points while Rodolfo Fernandez added 15 and Pau Gasol had 14 to knock the "Tall Blacks" out of the Olympics.
Unbeaten Spain topped Group A and will next meet the fourth-placed team from Group B - possibly Greece or the USA.
China also advance from Group A after defeating reigning world champions Serbia.
Italy will now progress, irrespective of their result against Argentina.
