Big guns Australia and the USA stayed well on track for the women's basketball semi-finals after easy wins. Lauren Jackson top-scored on 31 points and claimed nine rebounds as Australia, saw off Japan 97-78.
Meanwhile, Lisa Leslie and Tina Thompson dominated inside and added 25 and 18 points respectively as the USA trounced South Korea 80-57.
Jana Vesela scored 22 points and Eva Viteckova had 20 as the Czech Republic beat China 98-83.
