South Korea's Kim Dong-moon and Ha Tae-kwon beat compatriots Lee Dong-soo and Yoo Yong-sung to win the men's badminton doubles gold on Friday. Kim and Ha won 15-11, 15-4, Kim landing a second Olympic title following success in the 1996 mixed doubles.
Indonesia's Eng Hang and Flandy Limpele beat Danes Jens Eriksen and Marti Lundgaard Hansen to win the bronze.
Hang and Limpele overcame the fifth seeds 15-13 15-7 to earn their country's first badminton medal.
In the final, third seeds Kim and Ha were too athletic and powerful for Lee and Yoo in the many lengthy rallies.
They recovered from 4-1 down in the first game while Lee and Yoo never looked in the hunt in the second.
The women's doubles semi-finals also took place on Friday - with China already guaranteed gold and silver.
The top-seeded pair of Zhang Jiewin and Yang Wei defeated South Korea's Ra Kyung-min and Lee Kyung-won 15-6, 15-4 in the first semi.
And they'll play second-seeded Huang Sui and Gao Ling, who beat Zhao Tingting and Wei Yili 15-10, 17-14.
"It doesn't matter who wins the gold medal," said Zhang. "What matters is that the gold medal goes to China."
