Video - Sahin wins Turkey's first gold Ramazan Sahin won Turkey's first gold medal of the Beijing Olympics with victory over Ukraine's Andriy Stadnik in the men's 66kg freestyle wrestling. Sahin emerged victorious from a close encounter, 2-2 2-1 2-2, to add Olympic gold to his world and European crowns. The first bronze was won by Otar Tushishvili of Georgia, who beat Cuba's Geandry Garzon by points. India's Sushil Kumar beat Leonid Spiridonov of Kazakhstan to the other bronze after an extra-time clinch. In the contest for gold and silver, Sahin scored first with two exposure points after rolling over his Ukrainian opponent, but Stadnik hit back with two takedowns to draw level at the end of the first period. The Turkish fighter won the second period as Stadnik could only reply to his opponents push out and gut wrench with one takedown. Sahin secured victory with two reversal points to Stadnik's two takedowns.
