Jersey clubs recently won the senior Uptons

Jersey's men's team were crowned champions at the island's 23rd Volleyball Open on Sunday.

They beat defending champions St Malo 25-20, 25-20 after winning all their matches in the group stage.

The HLB Jersey Ladies, who won the event for the first time in 2007, failed to retain their title when they lost to Ashcombe in the women's final.

Jersey's mixed team were also victorious, beating Ken Dodd's Dad's Dog's Dead in their final 25-15, 25-19.
