Manx swimmer Hannah Kennish will represent the North West in the English Schools' Swimming Association finals in Enfield this weekend.

The 17-year-old Castle Rushen High School student will join 400 swimmers from more than 200 schools in the two-day competition.

Kennish said she was looking forward to being involved: "I was thrilled to be selected but I am very nervous as well.

"I'm representing the North West region, which is a real honour."
