Beckett is making her Olympic debut in Beijing

Loughborough-based relay swimmer Julia Beckett says her team will face an extra challenge in Beijing as the event schedules have been reversed.

She told BBC Radio Leicester: "They've changed it all around so the finals are in the morning this year and we then do the heats in the evenings before.

"It will be tough as we do heats in the morning and finals in the evening."

Beckett will be making her Olympic debut in the 4x100m freestyle relay heat on Sunday.

"We've been doing hard sets in the morning to prepare ourselves so we're confident about that but we'll have to see how everything goes," said the 22-year-old.
