Olivia Allison and Jenna Randall have qualified for Beijing

Olivia Allison and Jenna Randall won the Beijing qualification tournament to secure Britain's first Olympic synchronised swimming place since 1992.

Allison and Randall finished first, one point clear of Belarus pair, Katsiaryne Kulpo and Nastasiya Parfenova.

Britain were competing for one of the final places at the Beijing Games and secured it at the duet free event.

"I'm very, very pleased with how Olivia and Jenna have done," said national performance director Biz Price.

Allison and Randall, who train in Aldershot, are now focused on increasing the difficulty of their routines as they target a strong performance at this summer's Olympics.

"We had a plan coming into the competition and knew what we wanted to achieve," said Allison.

"We've proven that we are meant to be here and will work to improve on our performances.

"The pool is amazing and it was really good to swim in front of a large crowd.

"When we get back home we'll look back on this week and revise to routine to make it even better."
