Randall won silver in the solo event at the Commonwealth Games |
Jenna Randall earned her first senior ranking in synchronised swimming after coming 17th in the solo routine at the Fina World Championships in Melbourne. The British teenager, competing in her first senior event, came 16th in the solo free routine on Sunday and joint 20th with Olivia Allison in the duet.
"I'm really happy for Jenna but there's so much more to come from her," said performance director Biz Price.
"She's only been working towards her Olympic goals full time since January."
Randall said: "It's been a great competition for me so far and I still have the duet free on Wednesday with Olivia Allison so there's still a lot to do.
"The experience I've gained from watching the world's best in action as well the confidence gained from the positive feedback I've got from others and the judges has all been worth the hard work over the past 10 weeks."
