Glanfield sails into third place
Rogers and Glanfield
Joe Glanfield and Nick Rogers are on course to go to Beijing 2008.
Devon sailor Joe Glanfield and his partner Nick Rogers lie in third place with three races left in the World 470 Championships in Australia.

The pair have 46 points, a point off the second-placed crew from Israel.

Portugal's Alvaro Mourinho and Miguel Nunes are first, five points ahead of the British Olympic silver medallists.

But Rogers and Glanfield's main rivals for Beijing 2008, Nic Asher and Elliot Willis, are out of the medals after a mid-race collision.

The pair crashed into the Australian number two boat of Mat Belcher and Nick Behrens in race eight and have not competed since.
