Ipswich's men picked up their first point of the England Hockey League season with a 2-2 draw at Bromley and Beckenham on Sunday. Richard Stainthorpe got the Suffolk side's equaliser after the home team had taken a 2-1 lead. The point moves Ipswich off the bottom of the National Conference East table on goal difference. It was not such a good weekend for Ipswich's ladies who lost 3-0 to Bowdon Hightown in the Premier League.
